...one of your photo's show a pair of outer wings on a Queen Mary trailer. These look very similar to the outer wings fitted to "Friday". But what puzzles me is that she has the outer wings fitted too, so what is going on here.
I once mentioned that the outer wings of her were sagging almost to the horizontal instead of a marked dihedral as typical for the Halifax. Ian Foster told me that the outer wings had severe corrosion.
So, does this mean that the wings have been changed or are about to be changed. In that case Tony I do have another question:
Were they working on here when you visited Elvington?\
