The wing you mention is all metal and is situated next to the glider rebuild(WACO Hadrian I think). I assumed (one should never assume, as it makes an ass of u and me) that it was for use here and not being a lover of unpowered flight, took little notice.

But kicking starting the old memory banks, it is a one piece wing - both port and starboard wings - with the edges at the centre being indented to fit over a fuselage. This indented area was not very wide and I would guess that the total length of both wings was about the same as the Anson. I seem to remember that was not very wide (front to rear) and again IIRC the leading edges were tappered towards the rear. Hope this is understandable!

I am not convinced that this is for display on "Friday" but am happy to be proved wrong.

One thing that I forgot to mentioned was that there are plans to erect another T2 hanger on site.
