What I have been wondering all along...

...is when a plane, take a P-51 for example, noses over and the propellers make contact with the ground the engine must be removed and rebuilt, and the engine mounts inspected and repaired etc. I think I have read or heard that someplace, maybe even on this board. I would have thought this would have been the case for the Lanc as well. What is the reasoning that allows the Lanc to return to the air so soon? I would have thought the two Merlins would have undergone a rebuild. I doubt in the short time since the accident they have.
Just curious. Anyone with answers?
BTW... It is wonderful to hear the CWH Lanc is well again.
