What's that about the ex-Luftwaffe aircraft that......

makes everyone cheer with joy when an airframe is found, or thought to be indentified as being a Fw or Me (tongue in cheek)?
It seems that the overal majority of the warbird fans all over the world have this thing for the Luftwaffe. Also the prices for parts for these aircraft are way out of proportion compared to their Allied counterparts.
