The reason I posted this was that although the aircraft of the Luftwaffe are very interesting, and I myself am also very interested in these warbirds (taking second place after the RAF of course), there are also other people involved who have a different way at looking at it.
You mentioned the political reasons, I sometimes see people at aerojumbles, militaria shows etc dressed in uniform and looking like idiots who are also very involved with this. As you state very correctly this is outside the scope of this forum, and I am certain that the majority of warbird fans just like these aircraft for their historial importance.
