...Its just because they were the "Bad Guys"! Aren?t the villains often more interesting than the heroes?
That and the rarity and funky camoflage schemes.
...and the Gotha 229 DID fly (briefly) but tragically flamed out and crashed, inspite of the pilots best efforts to get her down in one piece. The one at Silver Hill was to be the sucessor.
