Seems like IWM is very very cautious regarding radiation.

I got a reply yesterday from the IWM that they cannot give me permission to enter the cockpit of Halifax PN323 because of the radiation.

Although I was told last week that it was no problem to gain access, it is now considered too dangerous to enter the cockpit. Strange that after twenty of so years of thousands of visitors walking through it they now are so cautious. I am not giving up that easily.
