1. Offer to BUY the thing, yes, you heard me right, BUY IT. If it is such a risk to the general public, why is it on display? Buy it, be insistent, when you don't get your way, threaten to go to the press. Why is this "Dangerous" artifact available for the general public to harm themselves? After all, if warbird historians who know what they are doing, can't be allowed near it, why are the general public? So, offer to buy it, before they have to scrap it. Tell them you'll call the press, you'll be ***** amazed, at how quck they'll let you clmb over it. Blackmail is an ugly word, but I don't care, threaten them Cees. That bit about telling you to contact Canada again, is so obviously just trying to put you off, and insulting your intelligence

2. Are you trying to do this at the weekend? It may be why someone is reluctant to give up their Saturday to show u around?
