Cees is this really so bad? If the aircraft is not going to fly I can, to some extent, see the point of doing this. It will at least show what such a restoration has actually achieved; bear in mind that the majority of people going through the RAFM are 'Joe Public', perhaps not even enthusiasts but people looking for a day out.
How much opposition to this course is there? I'm curious. Now if it was mine, I'd rebuild to fly (funding permitting) !
