What to wear in Warbirds?

Hello guys,

this is something that has been bugging me quite a while. I always read with much interest the safety articles in EAA Warbirds, and have come to the conclusion that you indeed needed to dress properly when flying a Warbird. I always put pants (non-nylon) with cottons socks and leather shoes, and when going to a fly-in/airshow, I put the whole chebang of flight suit, boots (actually work boots), chute if I'm alone (I only have one certified, am planning to get another one this spring) and nomex gloves (this reminds me I need a new pair!). When flying over water or using an aiport that'll have me taking-off or landing over water, there's a flotation device with me in the plane.

Now the question. Should I get myself some worthy flight boots and a helmet? What do you guys put on when flying in your Warbird?
