"A friend of mine who has a Fouga (N805DM) told me to get the USAirforce liner... I'll check that out."
As somebody who flies with an HGU-55 every day (and used to be a squadron Life Support Officer), I recommend the ZetaLiner from Oregon Aero and NOT the TPL or any other liner.
The Zeta is not nearly as tough to fit (and doesn't require you to make a mold from your skull!!), never has hot spots, and molds directly to your head. My USAF squadrons have purchased these for use in my "at work" helmet and I have one of my own in the HGU-55 I have set up for warbird flying with civil electronics.
