I'm trying to track the owner of C-74 N8199H from 1959. It was apparently operated out of Miami, Florida during that time. It was seen parked in front of the large hangar of an FBO at Tamiami Airport named "American Airmo..."(tive?)
Do any of you old timers remember this FBO's location at the airport? It's possible a small number of derelict surplus warplanes might have been parked there at the time as well. Some called this area of the airport "Corrosion Corner".
Any clues would be great. I'm primarily looking for the name of a particular air cargo business that might have owned the C-74 and others. Thanks!
