HI Cees,
Thanks for the information, It's just one of those things I've always wondered about, it certainly explains why recoveries at sea are few and far between.
As for Elsie, I contacted someone from a TV company a while before Christmas, as they seemed interested in sponsoring or doing the recovery, but it seems to have come to a dead end.
I'm still hoping the Boss of my local TA unit wants to do it, but I have to wait until he returns from Nepal in February.
As usual, its the money and time that's slowing me down.
