I agree with you about the various parts scattered throughout the country or countries. There are wings and nacelles from a Wellington on display at the Norfolk and Suffolk Museum, Flixton. Perhaps these belong to the rear fuselage you mentioned.
Along similar lines, I believe there is a cockpit section of a Blackburn Skua in one of the Scandinavian museums which is the main part missing from the crashed Skua display at the FAAM,Yeovilton. A chance to get a complete aircraft perhaps, assuming a purchase/swap could be agreed.
