No Cees....

When I said, it's too simple, it will never work, it was humourous. To you and i, it's blindingly obvious, and the way to go, but a lot of collections, tend to jealously hoard their bits, and of course, there are also the rows about where will the finished article be based etc. It would seem, the best way, may be to have a virtual central repositry of some sort,a storage space for various bits and pieces from recoveries, that could be used in other restorations. In other words, a website that lists Museums and individuals wants and needs, with the provisio, that full accreditation is given, to the organisations involved.

Barter and exchange, are coomon enough, from the cash strapped, to the well founded museums, and mayne, it would be an idea, for a central database to be established, to facilitate this?

Just an idea
