I don't agree with you on that. I think you are to modest, your posts are very informative and enjoyable on this board. I am also working for an insurance company to get food on the table, and most of us do have a job not involved with warbirds. It is in my spare time that I am actively involved with investigations and recovery of aircraft. This is a great way to relax. This is just one way to be involved with warbirds just like modellers etc. you name it.

I think you would be surprised to know that the total of people in the business and enthusiasts on this board are quite evenly balanced. Don't forget that enthusiasts like all of us have a great knowledge because we are all interested in various ways in warbirds and are willing to look for that information etc. Those that are employed in the warbird business have started out the same but took it one step further.

If I compare this to say the Dutch AF who is recovering Wellington HE727, these people get paid to recover this wreck but are not interested at all in what they are doing.
