Hi all,
There are many stories about wartime aircraft in UK lakes, either as a result of accidents, sinking of flying boats or dumping (remember Loch Ness).
For instance Lake Windermere is supposed to have a large number of flying boats such as Sunderlands and Catalinas on its bottom. Now and again rumours has it that there are plans to do something about these and then again these rumours dissapear almost as quickly.
Can anyone actually confirm that these aircraft do exist and in what condition would they be in?
Cees
