Mention of the Jet Age Museum's example really piqued my interest. How much was recovered from the scrap yard, and what condition was it in? Any photos?

I must say that I am absolutely amazed at all of the projects which seem to have turned up on this aircraft! I had no idea there were so many potential restoration projects out there... seems like there should be some pooling of resources to help things along... ie. getting parts made in bulk would certainly cut down on costs. Especially as most, if not all of these aircraft will be static. Each group could make a certain bulkhead or rib, and then share around... sounds a little too idealistic I know, but it would get more examples of this gorgeous aircraft complete enough for people to see, and a lot sooner too.

Cheers,
Richard

PS. What are the details on the fuselage in Holland (history, condition, location, etc.)
