Sounds like all my posts start with the above sentence. I don't mind though.

Of course any bits are very important to such a project. If there are that many Whirlwindss known to have crashed I wonder why nothing has been recovered yet.

Apart from the Whirlwind which crashed near Beverwijk and was recovered during the early sixites, I do not know of any other crash site in Holland (from memory that is) but perhaps Mick has some leads.

Perhaps the same approach as used by the Defiant reconstruction is possible. But again drawings are of the utmost importance.

Would be a nice WIX-project to put a Whirlwind together.
