It is spelt PREDANNACK!
263 Sqn had a detachment there around 13 Sep 42 and 15 Mar 1943
But we must be looking for any in that part of Devon/Cornwall so how about:
P6984 Abandoned after enginbe failure Middlemore S.Devon 19.1.41
P6988 of 263 Sqn Engine cut attempting to forceland while lost and spun into ground Portreath, 14.3.41 DBF
P7003 Dived into ground out of cloud near Wool Dorset 21.9.42
But just a guess!!
But Dave have you really got a handle on Vulture engines.. That must be the most important bit for any reproduction/replica! _ NON FLYING MUSEUM DISPLAY ONLY!
