Allegedly, that nearly happened when the BoB film was made. tha RAF a/c was on loan to the film company and they were as I say, allegedly, interested in flying it. Think I heard that they started the engine. Think I also heard that it they left it too late ie they were working on it toward the end of filming activity and the cash & time ran out. Confirm/ deny, anyone?
