Steve,

The conversion to at least one of the Proctors definately took place and I'm pretty sure there is a picture of it in the book "Battle of Britain" by Robert Rudhall (ISBN 0951983296).

From memory Viv Bellamy took it up a couple of times and commented on its "interesting" handling characteristics

If you are interested I will check the book this evening and post more details.
