I knew they were rebuilding a Jumo 211, but the Jumo 213 was new to me. What a magnificent restoration that is. Seems like they would have to make a lot of new parts for this engine, or have access to previously undiscovered spares.
I wonder how they are going to solve the problem of the Kommandoger?t (the famous automatic brainbox). I understand Doug Champlin's example can't fly because it doesn't have it installed or they couldn't find one in working condition.
It would be a fantastic sight to see a D-9 flying in Europe.
