I think the Kommandoger?t problem has been solved for Champlin, if my fading memory is correct. I can't recall whether I read that one had been located, but that seems right. Could it be possible that with today's technoloy, a new one could be fabricated? At any rate, I don't think Champlin's example will fly (due to rarity), but it is intended to be completely airworthy.
I, too, can't wait for more information from MotoBende on this Dora project. I'm surprised that other FlugWerk examples are not undergoing a similar conversion, such as a D-14 version with a DB603.
