NASM Ta152 Again

Can somebody comment on the following observation about the NASM Ta152, noted on Hyperscale

"Saw it in July of last year. The tour guide said its fate was being debated as it is getting "too far gone" to be a viable project.

I sure hope they don't scrap her...
(Or worse, put her in "indefinant storage" like the XP-56...)"

Something must be done - please tell me this ain't true and that somebody has got it wrong. This is the last of the breed and if this example is lost all we have is pictures!

If this one is too far gone, how many others are there in the same state?
