Now where were we....

: #1 MA793 is (or was) marked as EN398. What model was EN3
: 98?

Yes EN398 was a MkIXC
:
: #2 MH434 is owned by the Old Flying Machine Company. Fro
: m what I can tell it had a number of paint schemes over th
: e years including the markings ?ZD B?, ?AV H? and ?CK D?.
: Does anyone know the chronology of the schemes?

From the BoB film onwards:- AI-A,AI-D,AI-E,AI-K,CD-F, A.SQUIRE AC-S,OFMC ZD-B,Piece of Cake CK-D(?),grey & blue paint job,Forgotten Hero CK-D,Belgian CK-D,1992 AV-H,ZD-B,WO-?, after rebuild ZD-B,SZ-G,soon to be ZD-B again.
I think these are the right order but there may be one or two more?
:
: #3 MH592 is on display at the Yugoslav Aeronautical Museu
: m. It is (or was) marked at JK808. Is JK808 a valid RAF
: Spitfire s/n? If so, what model was JK808?

Yes JK808 was a MkVC, to Casablanca April 43.
:
: #4 NH649 belongs to the War and Resistance Museum in the
: Netherlands. It once was belonged to, or was operated by,
: the Indian Air Force. What was the IAF serial number ass
: igned to this airframe?

NH649 is NOT the genuine serial of this Spitfire, it isn't even a genuine high-back MkXIV. It was originally a low-back MkXVIII with unknown RAF serial when it arrived back from India, served with IAF as HS649 apparently. Converted to high-back MkXIV spec with MkIX wings and adopted the ID of NH649, it has now been found that this bastardised MKXVIII is actually TP285
:
: #5 NH799 was once operated by the Alpine Fighter Collecti
: on in New Zealand. It too once belonged to, or was operat
: ed by, the Indian Air Force. What was the IAF serial numb
: er assigned to this airframe?

Unknown IAF serial.
:
: #6 I have an old post card (Valentine's Post Card 38A-29C
: ) that features Spitfire P9450. I don?t know if it surviv
: ed the war or what it?s fate was. I assume it is a Mk II.
: What was the exact model of P9450? (Mk IIb for example)
:
: P9450 was a MkIA, went to 64Sqn 2nd June 1940, damaged by Bf109 near Rouen France, no fate known.

: If you have any answers to these questions please let me k
: now?
