Mick,
I meant the remains at Sandtoft, that is Isle of Wight isn't it?
Don't forget ED603 which is lying substantially intact inverted on the bottom of the IJsselmeer. But it will have corroded to bits before the Dutch authorities have been persuaded to do something.
So far I think that Canada (ignoring Russia until proven wrong) will be the only source from where substantial bits of Lancaster in restorable condition are to be found .
Ah the creativitiy of the mind is endless, but the contents of my wallet is another story.
