Hi Cees.
I've never heard of Lanc stuff there, do you know exactly what there is, and what condition ?
Does anyone else think that it is strange that there is quite a lot of Lanc bits out there in the wild, but apparently very little of the Halifax, Stirling, Manchester etc etc etc ?
I'm sure that if there was as much of these other lost types around someone would have gathered them up long ago and we'd now have a complete example of each in the RAFM, but so far there has been little need to gather up the Lanc bits as we already have enough of them.....until I came along !
There's even those substantial Lanc bits (KB994/KB976) up at Sandtoft corroding out in the open until the apparent owner can find the money (hahahahaha!)to rebuild it, and his bloody Lincoln.
HoHum
