It was reported on the vintage forum and also in a few mags , some time ago , that one of your national museums had searched for and discovered a Dutch P-40 in a lake in one of the Pacific Islands [ a photo showing the canopy underwater was posted and I did save it ;-) ].... haven't heard anything further though .. what about you ?
Also I recall several Dutch flying boats had been discovered in a river where they had been scuttled to prevent the Japs getting them ... at least a couple were suposed to be raised and there was a web site devoted to this project at one time... can't remember the type though ;-0
