I think the reason for that is because the authorities/military are not, so they have to find it elsewhere. There are not that many warbird-airshows
compared to the British or Belgian ones. I never go
to Dutch airshows anymore (too much crowd and too
little intersting warbirds).
Probably the same reason why you always see Brits in
southern Europe.
