Seems to me little or no effort is out in by the German authorities ... so why not let a private group do it , under supervision ? . A deal of some sort like... we keep the 262 and Arado ... you keep the 163 or something.
Seems that a lot of effort is made to search Russian lakes and obtain aircraft from that source [ 109 / 110], but they have even rarer machines rotting in there own back yard .
Another thing.. why booby trap an aircraft and then push it into a lake ????
