I don't know if I should write this down as "worst" because the collection is impressive; it was just that the kid acting as a tour guide, was so full of b.s. that it became painful after a while.

The Creve Coeur, MO antique airplane museum, where they have mostly, biplanes on exhibit. Great collection, with mostly flying classics, and even a Curtiss Wright biplane back from Argentina. The problem? The kid. He was telling, probably to a non-aviation educated audience, that he personally had seen the year previously (2001) P-51 Mustangs being operated by the air force in Argentina. That was the last straw, and I was forced to say something. It went downhill from there. In any case, this kid did not know the difference between a twin-engine Pucara and a single engine P-51...

All he knew was, that the airplanes wore camouflage, and he saw them from far away...

Conversation with the museum owner, indicated that the kid was full of it, and it was not the first time he was caught making up stuff, dates, historical facts and so on.

STILL, if you can go to Creve Coeur and visit the museum, is very much worth the trip. Ignore the kid.

Saludos!

Tulio
