For those of you that remember my last...

...dream/nightmare, which involved Adolf Galland as a Turkey Farmer and 3 HP Halifaxes, here is last nights story.
Without my wife's knowledge, I went out and purchased a 1981 Daimler Double 6 which appeared to be in good condition.
Having paid for it, I then noticed that it did not have a conventional dashboard but had a dashboard made up of those kitchen cupboards that were around in the 1950's (the ones with lots of little cupboards and doors. This point stands out, as I sat in the front passenger seat, I opened one of the doors and the inside had two shelves designed to hold eggs.
I knew that my wife would not like this and I decided to have the cupboards removed and have a proper dashboard fitted before I took it home and decided that the best place to take it, was a company called 'Wings' that was situated on the Chesham/Berkhampstead road in Hertfordshire and was very near a Peugeot garage.
When I arrived, all that I could see were rows upon rows of Spitfire Wings which were up for sale at ?99.99 each and two wing spars for the Stirling.
I don't remember anything else until I was trying to run down the road into Chesham (you know, one of those times when you are trying to run but don't get anywhere) when a Squadron of Typhoons (the car door type) flew overhead and one waggled its wings at me and landed near a duck pond.
When I got there, the pilot got out and obviously knew me well, opened a small door in the rear fuselage, next to the radio equipment and offered to take me home. Just as I was getting in, our Postman rang the door bell and woke me up!!
There are now several questions which need to be asked.
1. Should I be worried about the apparent fixation with poultry.
2. Why Berkhampstead and Chesham when I live in Northamptonshire.
3. Should I be seeking medical attention for these apparitions.
4. Am I the only one which has these weird dreams.
Anyway, keep watching for when the next installment happens.
Tony
