The aircraft is i believe a Mk.IIa which, with 64Sqn would have been based at Hornchurch, Essex from 31/03/41, This ties in perfectly with your article which accounts the loss - 9. April 1941. The I.D letter of the aircraft is either 'I' or 'L'. i can't remember if the letter 'I' was ever used by 64Sqn at this time so I prefer to think it was coded 'L-SH'. I will try to research further in order to determine the identity of the Pilot.
