That was the example that caught fire in Conroe and burned with nothing left. She was overall polished fuselage and wings with blue nacelles and cowlings. That actual accident took place on Sept. 16, 1990. Here is the link to the report: http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?ev_id=20001212X24264&key=1
I just found the NTSB report for "Fat Cat Too". States that they were doing a check ride and the PIC grabbed the gear handle instead of the flaps while he was setting it up for take-off. Says the handles were the same size, shape, and color. That accident was in September of 1994. I have been wondering lately as to what ended up happening to her.
