The Harpoon at Arcola had an engine failure or something like that in the Summer of 94. When they brought it back around for landing, they hit short of the runway and collapsed the right gear. The plane was towed over to the tiedown area and propped up on old tires. That was the position it was in when I saw it about two or three months later. It was registered as N72707 and was BuNo.37492
: There was also, another Harpoon, this one also in overall
: blue, at the Arcola airport. Then, one day, it disappeared
: , and who knows where it ended.
