The B-25 based there for a while was the Collings airplane. That was where we initially kept her. I also used to walk around that Harpoon many times. Even tried to pull the props through once but I was way too small to move them. I know they wanted Art McKinley to ferry the thing out of there at one point but he wouldn't have it. I seem to remember the accident with it taking place during take-off. I had no idea that they actually got it off the ground. She always was scary looking to me and I never once saw a person working on her.
The CASA was owned by Rick Sharpe and I have no idea where it is now.
Also, the Red Knight T-33 was in one of the hangers once and Howard Hughes's Sikorsky S-43 lived in the paint shop hanger. I spotted the former LSFM P-64 in there once. That was right before she was painted in Thai markings and shipped off. There were also a couple T-28s that lived there for a time as well as one T-6 that I got to fly in. She was owned by Clyde Barton and named "Dress Blues".
