Ed Russell goes on a spending spree......

All,
Just picked up the latest Aeroplane and the lead story in the news is that Ed Russell (the man who made his fortune from a law suit with Disney) has purchased the former David Price Me.109E and Hurricane .
They are to based alonside his Spitfire MK912 at his new flying museum at Niagra South.
The Hurri will travel by road from its current location of Camarillo CA, whilst the 109 which is at Mojave will follow in a crate in late November.
This deal was set-up by Duxford's Aircraft Restoration Company (ARC), who will be setting up a maintenance outpost at Niagra South to look after the new collection.
Great news that these machines now have a secure future
