The Swedish Air FOrce have never used any Fw 200 in its service. No Fw 200 have been entered on Swedish register, therefore none have been cancelled.
One of the original DDL (Danish) Fw 200 bought before the war was used by Denmark on traffic between Copenhaguen and Berlin. During the last month of 1945 the danes choosed to land it at Torslanda/Gothenbourg and to simulate technical malmfunction to ensure its survival so that it could be used after the war by the danes. If I remember correctly it flew for a couple of years before having a landing accident and was scrapped in the -40's.
Are you sure about the Fw 200 in Spain, is it not the Ju 290 that you're refering to?
I thought that the Fw 200 operated by Soviet Union in the -50's was the last ones flown operationanly.
If I remember correctly D-ACON crashed in very shallow water and was recovered to be scrapped. I'm writting from my job so I haven't checked my material at home so I could be wrong. I remember seeing photos of the aircraft, and passengers being able to walk ashore.
