: "One of the original DDL (Danish) Fw 200 bought before the

: to land it at Torslanda/Gothenbourg and to simulate techni

: e used after the war by the danes. If I remember correctly
: it flew for a couple of years before having a landing acc

:
: That must be OY-DEM "Jutlandia" (c/n 2993, registered 19.1
: 1.38) which crashed on 09.04.46 in Northolt and was scrapp
: ed there. The other DDL Condor (OY-DAM) was seized in Engl
: and on 09.04.40 and re-registered G-AGAY. Your story about
: the landing in Sweden is however new to me; would be inte
: rested in more info on this (particularly the date). If I
: recall correctly, DDL was offered captured Condors and ref
: used them due to antipathy towards German equipment and wo
: rries about future spare parts supplies. The Condor was no
: t very popular with DDL crews anyway, they regarded as bei
: ng old fashioned in comparison with the DC-3.
:
: Going to the Hahnweide show this weekend, Mikael; TWO Bf 1
: 08 in the flying programme on Saturday (D-EBEI and OY-AIH)
: and I am bringing your list...!

Date was 8 may 1945, FW200C-5/K (F8+MS)from with a crew
from the unit 1.(F)/22 landed at Torslanda at 07:30.
Scrapped 1948 according to the latest Widfeldt/Wegman
book.
