I agree totally with you on replicas...if it successfully represents that aircraft in question and does not pretend to be an original build then I don't personally see a problem...

Turbo props on the comet....it would need a hell of a lot of redesign!!! We are currently working on 'Black Magic', eventually it will fly. We have taken on board the problems with Grosvenor House and the replica in the states stalling at inappropriate times, quite frankly they do not really want to fly, and have applied computer models to the airflow with varying degrees of washout in the wing. All are pretty unsuccessful in their own right. We are going to have to apply removeable 'sleeves' at varying positions on the leading edge of the wings which, according to the computer models, should vastly improve the flying characteristics. These would be removed when on the ground so as to not detract from the original design.
