.... and many questions come to mind.

What got you interested in producing a cockpit section and why the Halifax.
How long have you been working on your project.
I know that one shouldn't discuss the "dirty part" but what sort of costs have you incurred (hope you don't mind me asking).
Apart from digs, were do you find the bits and pieces.
Although you are only building the top half of the cockpit, it must still be a fairly large exhibit, where do you keep.
What will you do with the project when completed.

As I said earlier, I hope you don't mind me asking but "cockpit" sections but this is something that I often consider doing but have no knowledge of where to start.

As for the mainspar of the Lanc, I believe that without it, the airframe would not have been able to have carried the sort of weights that she eventually did, allowing her to become without doubt, the "Bomber" of the campaign, beating ALL the others (now sitting on my flak helmet) including the B29 which IIRC only got to 20,000lb.

However, I have been inside the Lanc's sister, the Lincoln at Cosford and I must say that I would not want to be in front of the spar and not be able to use the emergency exits.
