I have two different responses...choose the one that suits you best!

1. True...I wish they hadn't built the dang thing. The money would have been better spent on a Glasair or RV-6. The last thing we need around this world is more ME-262's. We can't have that! We have to get this madness under control! Next thing you know, they will be building replica stuka's! I heard a dirty rumor that somebody was building copies of FW-190's and Ki-43's. They even had the nerve to say that they were exact reproductions. Have you ever heard of such a thing? The world is coming to an end! Grab your children and run hide in the nearest swamp!!!
I have an idea, when the 262 makes it to Oshkosh, the data plate patrol, society for prevention of reproduction warbirds and elected represenatives of the aeronautical history purity program can stage a protest! You know they will try and park it in the warbird area!

2. ...looked like a ME-262....Smelled like a ME-262....sounded like an ME-262....dang, it sure is good to see one in the air!
