Planes of Fame was considering rebuilding their '262 to fly, but I think they sold it to Paul Allen... probably to help fund their new hangar complexes. I don't know if Mr. Allen will have it flown, but it seems he has everything restored to original specs., so i am sure it will be restored to perfection. However, I am doubtful it will fly in public though, as Mr. Allen seems to be keeping everything behind closed doors. Oh well, his aeroplanes, his choice, but it does seem a little selfish!
