Mmmm very very interesting. I will have a good look at home. Perhaps the photo's Peter mentioned in his collection show the single fin clearly. mInd you the airframe in question was heavily modified to resemble something more modern I think.

AFAIK there was no single fin Halifax, the only thing that comes close to this was the Hastings/Hermes which was a development of the Halifax using the wingstructure.
