Yes the 2 fins where removed, but what looks like a single fin was actually something behind the AC.

I have a nice picture of it at home in one on my books.

While atttending a CAHS ( Canadian Aviation Hisotical Society ) reunion, I meet a WW2 veteran in charge of fund raising in Canada for the composite Halifax project in the UK ( YAM ).

I forgot his name but he was an amazing source of reference for the Halibag.

Anyway I was asking about a single fin Hali, his answer was ( none, never, impossible )

So I brought back the picture and the book later on. At first glance he hadf a good harty laugh

That picture has suposelly folled others before. If you look closely, it is more likely an arial mast in the back.

Hoping what I said is not banana's
