: I recieved a book yesterday called 'Endstation Dschungel A

: This roughly translates as 'A Search for Aircraft Wrecks i

:
: I knew this book was in German, (which I cannot read!) but
: I was hoping that this would contain lots of photos of ai
: rcraft wrecks in New Guinea, however, while it does have s
: ome, there are not many. It is more (I guess) a guide book
: to PNG as there are photos of locals in dress, birds etc.

: Anyway I digest. The reason I got it, was I was told that
: there was a visit to a Junkers aircraft taken by the Autho
: r in the mid to late 1980's.. Well both a JU-52 and Ju-33
: are certainly mentioned but my lack of German means I can'

:
: A lot of info comes from the Charles Darby book, I know th
: at because it says 'Darby' and 'bible' in the same sentenc
: e!
:
: It mentions the Fairy IIIF in Wewak in an Appendix, this i
: s one I want some more info on, but this looks like it is
: from
: the Darby book.. As I cannot find reference in the text. T
: he B-26 on Kiriwina is mentioned..
:
: Anyway Cee's have you seen or read this book?? I bought it
: over the Internet from your neck of the woods...

Paul

Can you give me the info on where to find/buy this book.

In relation to the W33 the last time I saw the aircraft was in 84. Some years later the aircraft was moved from Alexishafen to Lae. The aircraft has since dissapeared. Most likely scrapped. Have searched high and low for this machine.
