Firstly a letter in Air Enthusiast Issue 101 says..

Is 'Auntie' Still Extant?'

"I have information that VH-BUU was still in good condition at Baiyer River in 1986. In the highly recommended (but long out-of-print) book Wracks im Dschungel, about aircraft wrecks in Papua New Guinea, the author Axel Thorer visited the location. He reported the fuselage and wings intact, cockpit windows still present and the black and white chequerboard on the rudder visible. Even the engine nacelles were protected against birds and other animals by wire grating"

Which lead me to want to get said book....

So I searched on Internet and found a copy via german ABEBOOKS in Holland. However..... there was only one copy for sale which I grabbed......

However, it may be worth periodic checking of

www.abebooks.de
It is also listed at Amazon.de

http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3894050322/qid=1037460182/sr=1-7/ref=sr_1_2_7/028-7248718-3780523

But as they say 'within 2 week's they would probably go back to original publisher for a copy.. If they still have a copy!
