: I have a list of approx. 200 derelict,
: crashed, or ditched planes of all types, and one day I'm
: going to get them all out of where they are and back in th
: e sky.
Good luck. I'm only involved with one aircraft (albeit part-time), and that's hard enough!! :)
Okay, well as we're all having a go at this, here's me.
Steve Young, former RAF Officer Cadet with hopes of graduating from Cranwell and flying Jaguars, but now a Commercial Manager from Cambridgeshire. Never mind, went and got a PPL instead ;) Always interested in aviation, especially the old stuff. Tended to just be an occaisional PPL and frequent airshow-goer for many years until getting involved with Skysport's Beaufighter two years ago, something I still do now, and feel very privileged to be involved with.
In answer to Dave's original question, I'm an enthusiast, a (time-expired) pilot, and a one-night-a-week restorer. Haven't done any writing yet, although I have got some vague book ideas, and did go through the motions of setting up a website about Beaufighters a couple of years ago ( www.beaufighter.co.uk ) with a friend of mine, but haven't really done much to it recently (as visitors will see!!)
