Define recoverer.
The Russian discoverer.
The heli pilot who pulled them from the Russian boonies.
The Russian business man who funded it and got them to the Moscow viewing point.
The UK man who had the contacts.
The UK man who went to Moscow and negotiated.
The UK man who wrote the cheque.
It is a process down the chain involving many parties.
In this case I believe you will find that from initial contacts made by Jim Pierce, The Brothers Hunt went to Russia to finalise the deal and ship them back to the UK.
Current Flypast and Aeroplane carry the pix. Jim had no problem with the copy and we did discuss it.
